This project involved both renovation and staging, including the installation of a new ensuite bathroom and balcony decking, replacement of all switches, sockets and door furniture, and repainting all woodwork, including dark internal window frames, in white to brighten the space. The wooden kitchen units were upcycled, with a new sink, taps and updated flooring fitted in both the kitchen and bathroom. Off cuts from the kitchen worktops were cleverly repurposed to create a console table and plant table, and many of the owner’s existing furniture pieces were thoughtfully incorporated into the design scheme. The project was delivered on budget and the property sold to the first couple who viewed it.
“Amanda’s vision transformed our mother’s retirement flat so that it was bought by the first couple who subsequently viewed it.”
