Renovating and Styling a Holiday Rental

Sustainable, stylish and practical renovation

This charming holiday rental on the Isle of Wight has been thoughtfully renovated and styled creating a welcoming coastal retreat. Carefully chosen furniture and finishing touches have been incorporated —including artificial plants, floral accents, cushions, throws, and decorative accessories. The property now has warmth, character, and a polished feel to the space.

Downstairs, bold reds and deep blues inject energy and personality, creating a strong and memorable first impression. In contrast, the upstairs spaces are designed for rest and relaxation. There is a calming palette of turquoise and white that reflects the surrounding coastal environment. Ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the island.

In the principal bedroom, flexibility was key. The design needed to accommodate both a king-size bed and twin configurations. To achieve this, a wooden slatted wall panel was mounted horizontally to serve as a versatile headboard. Oak off-cuts from another project were repurposed into bespoke bedside tables, perfectly complementing the headboard while adding a sustainable, handcrafted touch.

If you want your holiday rental to stand out, attract high-quality guests, and reach its full market potential, now is the time to act.

“What a transformation. Totally worth the investment.”
